Lunch Boxes with Love

My little man is currently being a little bit difficult with what he eats. Given he is only 15 months old I am sure it is but a brief phase - but if I had some of these great products from Lunchboxes with Love to make his lunches - it might be a different story!

Lunch Boxes with Love is the brain child of Cath, a mother of 2, who has fond memories or her mother's creative lunches. However it was an exchange trip to Japan which really got her love of all things Japanese started.

ABC Cutter set $12.95

Egg Moulds $8.95 / 2

Sandwich shapers $14.95

How popular would your kid be at school with a lunch like this

or this?

Family Room Art Work

The great dining room / playroom / family room renovation of 2011 is getting close to completion. I am off to ikea tonight with hubbie reluctantly in tow (I need him to tie the boxes to the roof racks) to pick up the shelves and dining room table, then one final coat of paint to the windows and we are all done! Just in time too because the bathroom renovation is starting tommorrow!!

So - now the fun part - wall decorations. We have photography throught the rest of the house, but as this will be predominently a play room - I was thinking something more along the kiddie line.

I would also like a large black and white photo of my husband, son and I - unfortunately i am usually behind the camera so we don't really have any. May need to enlist my parents help for this one on the weekend.

I would love to hear what you have on your children's playroom wall or any suggestion for mine?

quick three: favourite stationery item

Given my love of stationery how could I not play along with kasiabear's quick three: favourite stationery items this week!

I have said it before and i will say it again - I love my box of Stabilo Coloured Pencils

My Staedtler mechanical pencil which i have had since my architecture studying days. I love the thick lead and how you can sharpen it into a super sharp point, or a blunt end depending on your needs

Greeting  Cards (they are stationery right?) - I have a fascination with greeting cards and gift tags (hand made or small run) and i am growing quite a collection which I store in a second hand carousel display unit in my study. My favourite gift cards at the moment are by Chantal Vincent Art (helps that she is a super nice and helpful person too!). Chantal has just brought out some easter bunny ones - too cute

You can purchase them here

I am playing along with Kasiabear - want to play too?

One Two Three Four, I Declare A Thumb War

It would appear I am a little obsessed with thumb prints of late! Not sure why.... I do have happy memories of doing them as a child. Anyway - here are some more thumb printing goodies - i think these may be aimed at little people - but I think big people might just love them too!
